How to take a position

1. Open a race

Pick a race on the home page, or select Market room on a card to open the market page with its chart, positions and rules.

2. Choose a side

Every race has Yes (the first asset gains more) and No.

Each side shows its current multiplier, for example 1.59x, and what your amount would pay at that multiplier: 25 pays 39.75 ANYONE.

The multiplier moves

The multiplier is calculated from the pool at this moment. Every position taken after yours, on either side, changes it until the race closes. Your final payout is set by the pool when the market is resolved. See Probability and payouts.

3. Enter an amount

Type an amount of ANYONE or use the quick amounts. The minimum position is 1 ANYONE.

4. Check and confirm

The summary under the card shows the side, the amount and the fee, for example YES · 25 ANYONE · 1.0% fee. Select Predict Yes (or the side you chose) to confirm.

The transaction runs on Base from your ANYONE wallet. You do not pay network fees.

What happens to your amount

Fee (1%)	0.25 ANYONE
Your position in the pool	24.75 ANYONE

Your position counts on its side from that moment. It shows up in the market's Positions tab and in Portfolio.

Positions close before the end

Races stop taking positions 1 hour before they end.

After that, you can only wait for the result or sell your position early.
