NUKE and refunds
NUKE cancels a market. Instead of paying winners, the market returns everyone's money.
When a market is NUKEd
A market is NUKEd when it cannot be settled fairly by its rules, for example if the market was published with a mistake or the data needed to resolve it is not available.
Only addresses approved in the factory can NUKE a market, and a market that has already been resolved cannot be NUKEd.
What you get back
| Refunded | |
|---|---|
| Your position | Yes, in full |
| The fee you paid | Yes, your part of the market's fees |
| Anything burned | Nothing is burned on a NUKEd market |
Your refund is calculated by the contract:
refund = your position + your share of the market's feesYour share of the fees is in proportion to your position, so each position gets back its amount plus, in effect, its fee.
How to claim a refund
A NUKEd market shows a refund in Portfolio → To claim. Select Claim and the refund is sent to your wallet. See How to claim winnings.
Refunds cannot be paused and do not expire.
